Universidad Iberoamericana Tijuana
Head of the Visual Communications Department
During my seven year streak at the UIA, I established a top ranking positioning of the University in the region through various media campaigns. I designed an introductory campaign with a lot of promotional materials for the open-house program. Designed the laurel symbol for the “Institution of Excellence” award, the “ibero” icon used for advertising and branding in TV and I redesigned its High-School corporate image, logo, brand identity and graphic standards manual; I was also in charge of all the print publications of the school, the library and the spiritual retirement home.
In the spring of 2006 I was invited to be part of the national redesign of the Educational Jesuit System, a two year project.
I also collaborated with the University as a teacher of drawing techniques, illustration, design theory and architectural presentation skills for the Urban Development Master’s Degree.
